Joint-Operation Tiger V - TASK FORCE JULIET
TASK FORCE JULIET OPORD



1. SITUATION

Task Force JULIET are conducting the final push to secure RESHMAAN and DESTROY RNA forces who have retreated to the South-Eastern airfield and military base in that area. This will hopefully conclude the majority of fighting in the area, though an insurgency is highly possible.





2. ORDERS

TASK FORCE JULIET elements (6AB, 15MEU) are to ASSAULT and DESTROY enemy forces in the South-Eastern airfield and military base, thus destroying what is left of the RNA military.


A. Enemy Forces

Air Cavalary and Mechanised company, possibility of 2x Armoured Platoons, numerous other infantry units. Expect emplacements and MANPADS

C. Weather / Time
Clear, visibility 5km+ / Morning, 0900


D. Terrain

SOUTH EASTERN RESHMAAN PROVINCE, mountainous region with sporadic villages and farmland, to the EAST is a large flat desert area.



2UP Intent
Continue with removing RNA elements from RESHMAAN province restoring civilian government and reducing interaction with TAKIBAN insurgents in neighbouring AFGHANISTAN.

1UP Intent
ASSAULT and DESTROY RNA held AIRFIELD and MILITARY BASE.



II. MISSION

Who: TASK FORCE JULIET (6AB A.COY, 15MEU, 656SQD AAC, 15MEU Aviation)
What: ASSAULT
When: 09MAR2013 1900Z
Where: SOUTH-EASTERN RESHMAAN, AIRFIELD
Why: To remove remaining RNA forces.

ROE
P.I.D all contacts and take great care to avoid any accidental action against the Civilian populace, however shoot armed personnel on sight. Limit use of explosives and anti-tank weaponry within urban areas to limit collateral damage.



III. EXCECUTION

Phase 1: TASK FORCE JULIET elements will move out from NORTHERN AIRFIELD in 2x CH46 escorted by a combined force of the Apache and Cobra, FSG (6AB FSG + FORECON) will move to HLS WHISKY to the north of Krama Hill and set up an OP.
At the same time M1 Abrams, callsign TITAN, will move from their start position to a staging area NW of the AO, supported on route by RW assets.

Phase 2: Ground assault platoon will MOVE and SECURE the staging area NORTH WEST of OP (137-060) and wait for 2x TITANs. During this time FSG elements will IDENTIFY and PRIORITISE RNA elements, focusing on armoured targets and moving down to defensive emplacements.
Once the TITANs have regrouped with the ground assault platoon, the FSG will call in CAS air assets to destroy identified RNA elements as well engage them with JAVELINs, the assault group will at this time MOVE SOUTH and ASSAULT the airfield with combined air and ground fire support.

Phase 3: TF JULIET elements will REORG and consolidate at the airfield, pioritising defensive positions to the NORTH EAST of airfield.

Phase 4: TF JULIET elements will launch a final assault on the military base, located approx 081-040.





IV. SUPPORT

A. Supply:


Clothing/tools - uniform is MTP. FSG will carry FGM148 Javelins and CLU to engage armoured targets.

Standard weapons will be used. All Section ICs to ensure that section members are carrying sufficient ammunition and supplies for the operation. FSG are to ensure they have suitable weaponry to engage numerous armoured targets.


B. Transportation: 2x CH46

C. Services: Fuel, ammunition and engineer repair at NORTHERN AIRFIELD

D. Maintenance: We will be checking weapons, radios and equipment prior to issue.

E. CASEVAC: Provided by CH46, callsign RED DRAGON. All casualties should wait-out at northern airfield for reinsertion into AO by PEGASUS.

F. Miscellaneous: All TF INDIA personnel MUST ensure they have the Tiger mod-pack (@JPM) and map (RESHMAAN PROVINCE) installed and working.

G. Personnel: All men are to be in-server and ready by 2000Z

There is a very good chance that Task Force Juliet's mission will be postponed until next Sunday, the 17th.
